MARIPOSA En Route Los Angeles to Honolulu World News by United Press International WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 1975 (V64-5) Washington - United States administration officials said Tuesday Secretary of State Henry Kissinger was the big loser in President Ford's Cabinet level shake-up and they hinted Elliot Richardson may be returning to Washington to play a more important role than Commerce Secretary. Richardson, now U.S. Ambassador to Great Britain, and Ford's choice to succeed Rogers Morton as Commerce Sec retary, will be waiting in the wings to take over Kissinger's Cabinet post, perhaps even before the 1976 election, the officials suggested. They said Kissinger, in losing his job as head of the National Security Council, also will lose his daily access to Ford and his White House office. Gusted Secretary of Defense James Schlesinger turned down an offer by Ford to become Ambassador to Australia and Central Intelligence Agency Director William Col by to become Ambassador to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, administration officials said Tuesday. Ford, at a news conference Monday night, confirmed that Schlesinger is being replaced by White House Chief of Staff Donald Rumsfeld, Kis singer losing his White House post as National Se curily Council chief to his deputy, Lt, Gen. Brent Scowcroft, and Colby is being replaced by George Bush, the senior representative at the U.S. liaison office in Peking. Madrid - Generalissimo Francisco Franco rallied against what were described as 100 to 1 odds Tues day, awakening after an emergency operation to talk to his wife. But his condition was grave and one specialist said it is a question of hours. PAUL DANA CRUISE DIRECTOR Paul Dana was born into a"Show Business" family. His mother, father and uncles all performed in the legitimate Theatre, and one uncle, Henry B. Walthall, starred in the movies "Little Colonel" and "Birth Of A Nation." Paul and his twin brother started as a song and dance act on the old Pantages Orpheum circuit, at the age when most children are starting kindergarten.
