This publication came about as a result of research presented at the 6th International
Workshop on Angiostrongylus and Angiostrogyliasis (colloquially known as rat
lungworm disease) held in Hilo, HI, in January of 2020. We have published the
scientific details of many of these studies in a Special Issue of Parasitology (Feb 2021)
