Abstract
Letter from J.W.P. Keolanui of Apua, Honouliuli, stating that a strong storm blew through Honouliuli and knocked down the house of D.H. Kekukahiko. The storm also destroyed the fishponds, Pahau and Hapenui, of J.W. Kaikainahaole. The kamaaina are guessing it was a type of Kona wind (maybe the Kona Kalaeloa, Kona Kalaenihi, Kona Puukuua, Kona Anuhea, or Kona Kuo) that was spoken of by Kamapuaa.
