Bamboo Ridge Online Archive Reception

On February 13, 2020, Bamboo Ridge Press hosted a reception at Kapiʻolani Community College Library to celebrate its online archive of journal issues.
Jean Toyama introduced the proceedings, acknowledging the assistance of the University of Hawaiʻi Press and the support of the Hawaiʻi Council for the Humanities.
Dr. Christine Yano gave the opening address, Bamboo Ridge Goes Digital: Locating Geneological Futures.
Darrell Lum, Eric Chock, and Wing Tek Lum gave histories of the press, and Juliet Kono told the story of how having her books online helps her to reach people across the world.
Included in this collection are the oral histories presented at the event.
