The Hawai’i Cooperative Fishery Research Unit (HCFRU) was established in the spirit of cooperation and collaboration, with a shared vision of developing the scientific knowledge and natural resource professionals necessary to ensure the sustainability of Hawaiian natural resources for future generations. The HCFRU is based at the University of Hawai’i at Hilo and is part of the National Cooperative Research Units Program within the U.S. Geological Survey. Cooperators for the HCFRU are the U.S. Geological Survey, the University of Hawai’i System, the Hawai’i Department of Land and Natural Resources, and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
This repository is home to the HCFRU's Technical Report Series and allows Unit scientists, students, and affiliated researchers to archive and disseminate their research findings and data.
